Earth Week 2013

It has been an amazing earth week here at Jefferson Elementary School! We had several guest speakers here to talk with the students about animals, the students created costumes and accessories for Mrs. Wall to model and we had our Earth Day presentation with the grand finale of two new trees planted in front of Jefferson Elementary School!

The Earth Day presentations were amazing! Classes created videos of their learning about birds, Wisconsin animals and public service announcements to better our practices of recycling, reusing and reducing. There was an amazing skit done by one class about the purpose of trees, many poems about animals, and so much more! One last thing, we were honored to have Mayor Devine here to celebrate with us!
